BIRD FANTASY LANTERN

“I found this lantern at a tag sale. After restoring, painting and decoupaging the piece, I decoupaged the wooden birds. Most of the birds can be moved on top of the piece or inside as desired. The lantern can be used with candles for tabletop decor.”  SOLD

REIMAGINED VINTAGE BOX PURSE

“I remember my mother used to carry decoupaged box bags in the 1960’s – very chic. I have sourced a number of them on Etsy and am transforming them. This bag is an ode to those vintage purses that had travel stickers affixed to them.”  SOLD

PALM HUSK SHADOWBOX  1

“I found these palm husks when I was in Florida. The woody material has such a beautiful color, and I love the texture. To me, they almost look like armour. ”

BOWL 1

“This bowl was a commission. I incorporated the buyer’s photographs into the piece as well as her favorite color, purple and her favorite print, leopard.” SOLD

LARGE REPURPOSED SHELL

“I found this shell on the beach in the Caribbean. It was white and battered.  I wanted to bring it back to life by making it a fantasy world.  Who knows what adventures this shell had?”

CHANDELIER CHRYSTAL PENDANTS 1 and 2

“I gather these chandelier crystals from friends and tag sales. There are many small images below the crystal.  I like the way the facets enhance the image and reflect the light.”

SHELL JEWELRY

“I have always loved shells and have collected them since I was a child. I am more interested in the older worn shells most beachcombers overlook.  It is very satisfying to restore and to repurpose them. The pendants can be worn on either side.”
