Reborn Shells
I have collected shells since I was a few years old. It is one of the fondest memories I have of my mother–walking along the seaside, chatting and collecting these beautiful works of art by mother nature. I was always searching for that perfect shell or rare find but came to realize (as I aged too) what wonderful stories old, weathered shells had to tell! Their holes and cracks and battered exteriors were really magnificent. I find it thrilling to repurpose them as works of art and title them Reborn!
LARGE REPURPOSED SHELL
“I found this shell on the beach in the Caribbean. It was white and battered. I wanted to bring it back to life by making it a fantasy world. Who knows what adventures this shell had?”
